You are lucky Devorah, I am intl speaker in org design, agile, hr and management innovation. I do stuff with high impact in $. I write articles, run workshops, … and still study new stuff a lot. Around me there are many similar people. And as I said, my observation and experience is that complacency and status quo is needed, not initiative. Ageing is a real stuff and I experience the same. Young are getting priority everywhere no matter what skills and knowledge they have. I see many org struggle because of this, quality of services everywhere is dropping. The change is unprobable. I experienced companies that deliberately fire people above 50. Large tech ones, aka blue chips. Its a system.
