This is why I started to write about it. Also here at Medium, and why I created the course Agile Recruiter (https://bit.ly/3UVBn7s). I was looking for a job some 20 years ago. It was a very frustrating experience. And when I was looking for one recently, I realized that nothing has changed in the Recruitment industry. The work environment has changed, but recruitment is identical to what it was before. The same questions and a lack of understanding of the role and purpose for which they are hiring. The same stereotypes like "you are overqualified" (https://bit.ly/3EAkE49). Zero interest in candidates and how their values and abilities link with the organization (https://bit.ly/3OcySLZ) Finally, they still believe that the more candidates they process, the better the result will be.
