It very much depends, how do you define success. I am European, so I am used to the European perspective, which corresponds in your diagram to Germany. However, there are different approaches available. Particularly its is Finland in terms of the education system. And also Sweden in terms of social well-being vs. innovative economy. And Estonia in terms of entrepreneurship. Neither of these countries is a superpower, and they have no ambition as such. Neither Germany has such ambition. But if Germany would adopt something from the Scandinavian model, it would be then dissipated across the EU, and the EU would become a leading force. The interests of people should be first, not those of capital.
