I laughed a lot, you made my day Neela. But I do not think something will get better here. There is no demand for improvement from the organizations and their HR. And it is cheaper and easier to write a paper about a "complete shortage of people" than to bring some to the company. As a victim of these practices, I developed a course to inspire recruiters to do better. The last time I presented it at the HR conference, I learned that recruitment is not a topic for today's HR. Some 200+ ladies aged 40-50, with moderate to morbid obesity, were interested in the number of cakes they can put on their small plate with their coffee, but not in how to improve recruitment for an organization.
